Workers at Kellogg Company plants in Michigan, Nebraska, Pennsylvania and Tennessee went on strike after negotiations between management and their union failed.
“Expired contracts, questions about pay and retirement and fears of jobs being sent overseas are among the issues fueling this labor dispute,” BNC’s Shannon LaNier says.
Union vice president of the Memphis branch of the Kellogg Company, Kevin Bradshaw, joins “Black News Tonight” to discuss the strike.
